Rita Teens

Mission Statement
Building a Catholic community
of youth in the Parish of
St. Rita of Cascia

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month following the 10:00 a.m. Mass.

Our Community Activities
Trying to reach out to help others we have prepared cupcakes for Nativity House, a local drop in center in Tacoma.

We write letters to the children of
Kasisi Children's Home in Zambia, Africa, which our parish supports. Here is a very touching narrated slideshow..

We grow and experience our faith together with the youth groups of the Catholic Churches in Tacoma: A Lenten 24 hour Fast, Midnight Madness, and Retreats are a few activities we are able to participate in.

We have had several successful fundraisers to fund both our fellowship activities and to send groups to once in a lifetime experiences such as World Youth Day. We give 10% of each dollar we raise to a charity that reflects our Christian values.

And with the Seattle Archdiocese Office for Youth and Young Adult Evangelism there are many opportunities for us, including Conventions, Workshops, Retreats, etc... visit their blog for the most up to date information.
